While Europe is undergoing continuous economic and social transformation Securitisation is increasingly emerging as a key strategic tool to bridge the credit and capital markets. The CvSecuritisationDay is aimed at exploring the potential and prospects of this instrument and is must-attend event for market players.

Main topics that will be addressed during the conference include:

The Event will open with a speech by Gabriele Guggiola, Partner PwC Italia Financial Services, entitled "Market Overview: trends and future prospects".

This will be followed by a macroeconomic overview by Giovanni Tria, Economist and former Minister of Economy and Finance, and the KeyNote Speech entitled "How to help SMEs and foster energy transition - EIB Group perspective" by Flavio Cabas, Securitisation Manager European Investment Fund.

The first Session entitled "Securitisations: prospects and developments", moderated by Gabriele Guggiola, will focus on market developments and possible developments of the securitisation tool, reviewing the main legislative and regulatory developments, analysing the objectives and opportunities of securitisation and the main players involved in this type of operation.

In the second Session, moderated by Lisa Chiarini, Manager PwC Italia Financial Services, the different types of securitisation and their peculiarities will be analysed. We will discuss the use of synthetic securitisations as a risk transfer tool, their use as a vehicle to structure transactions in different asset classes (real estate, social and green) and the opportunities offered by the performing, reperforming and NPL markets.
